Erica Jackson is a native Texan and graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University, then earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2006.
While at Texas Tech, Erica became a certified mediator. Upon graduating from Texas Tech, Erica moved to Houston to start her legal career. Erica began her legal career in the Harris county Attorney’s Office representing the Department of Family and Protective Services in the 313th and 315th District Courts. While at the County Attorney’s Office, Erica tried numerous termination cases. Upon leaving the County Attorney’s Office, Erica has focused exclusively on family law ranging from property division to custody disputes.
Over the years, clients have said that they feel comfortable with Erica and can easily confide in her. As a family law attorney, she sees people at a very low point in their lives and this gives her the opportunity to help them face their legal struggle as well as be an empathetic shoulder to lean on. It is her focus to help them work through their difficult time and find a path that is best for their future.
